Terms of Service
Effective Date: 10-14-2026
These Terms of Service, referred to as the “Terms,” govern your access to and use of the RateTheVisit website, services, free trial, communications, and related products.
RateTheVisit is operated by AF-Enterprises LLC d/b/a RateTheVisit, referred to in these Terms as “RateTheVisit,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
By accessing our website, requesting a trial, creating an account, submitting information, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or services.
1. The Service
RateTheVisit helps home service businesses request customer reviews, send follow-up communications, monitor and respond to reviews, and manage related reputation activity.
Depending on your selected service and approved setup, the service may include:
- Review requests by email, text message, or both
- Follow-up communications
- Review-response support
- Integration with customer relationship management or job-management systems
- Customer-list processing
- Reporting and review-growth tracking
- Trial setup and account support
We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time.
2. Eligibility and Authority
You represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have authority to bind the business you represent.
- The information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
- You will use the service only for lawful business purposes.
- You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws, regulations, carrier requirements, and platform policies.
3. Free Trial
RateTheVisit may offer an introductory free trial subject to approval.
The current trial includes:
- A two-week trial period
- Up to 100 customer contacts
- Email communications only
- No automatic enrollment into a paid plan when the trial ends
At the end of the trial, we may ask whether you want to continue with a paid plan. If you choose not to continue, no paid subscription will begin solely because the trial ended.
Trial access, eligibility, scope, and availability may be changed or withdrawn at our discretion.
4. Paid Plan, Billing, and Renewal
The current paid plan is $297 per month, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Paid plans are billed monthly based on your service start date. For example, if your paid service begins on the 10th of a month, future billing will generally occur on the 10th of each following month.
By starting a paid plan, you authorize RateTheVisit or its payment processor to charge the applicable recurring monthly fee and any applicable taxes.
You are responsible for maintaining current payment information. If payment fails, we may retry the payment, suspend the service, or terminate the account as permitted by these Terms.
5. Cancellation, Refunds, and Credits
You may cancel your paid plan at any time.
To help ensure billing can be stopped in time, provide at least 24 hours’ notice before your next billing date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid term.
Unless required by law or expressly stated in these Terms:
- Payments are nonrefundable.
- We do not provide credits for unused time.
- Cancellation does not create a refund for a partially used billing period.
The review-growth guarantee described below is the only stated service-credit exception.
6. Review-Growth Guarantee
For eligible paid accounts, RateTheVisit offers the following guarantee during each billing period:
- When we contact customers through both email and text message, we guarantee at least 15 reviews per 100 customers contacted.
- When we contact customers through one channel only, either email or text message, we guarantee at least 8 reviews per 100 customers contacted.
The guarantee is measured from your billing date through the day before your next billing date.
If RateTheVisit contacts the applicable number of customers during the billing period and the applicable guaranteed review rate is not reached, your next month of service is free.
Guarantee requirements
To qualify for the guarantee, you must:
- Provide complete, accurate, and usable customer contact information.
- Authorize RateTheVisit to contact the applicable number of customers during the billing period.
- Maintain an active, accessible Google Business Profile or other agreed review destination.
- Not interfere with approved message delivery, integrations, review links, or customer communication workflows.
- Use compliant message content and customer data.
- Not require or encourage only positive reviews.
- Not offer incentives in exchange for reviews.
- Not use review gating, filtering, deceptive practices, or any practice that violates Google policies, carrier rules, or applicable law.
The guarantee does not apply where performance is affected by inaccurate data, unavailable integrations, blocked messages, customer opt-outs, account suspension, third-party platform changes, force majeure events, or your breach of these Terms.
The guarantee provides a service credit only. It does not create a right to a cash refund, consequential damages, or any other remedy.

Upon termination, we may disable access to the service. We may retain information as required or permitted by law, our Privacy Policy, and legitimate business needs.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Except for the express review-growth guarantee in Section 6, the website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RateTheVisit disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, uninterrupted service, accuracy, security, and results.
We do not guarantee a particular number of leads, jobs, revenue, rankings, ratings, reviews, review approval, message-delivery rate, search visibility, or business outcome.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RateTheVisit and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, business interruption, or reputational harm.
